We as young people are the foundation upon which the mansion of society is laid upon. We must be able and ready to make a meaningful impact on societal growth and development in our various communities. There is a need we keep ourselves in readiness for the task and responsibilities ahead. we cry out for empowerment and employment, but we first have to realize that responsibilities come to people who are responsible. it is time we fight to drop down those preconceived ideas of war, criminals, human rights violations, and whatever it may be that has served as a hinder for thousands of years to the grounds before our times. the burden of societies is on our shoulders as the batch of old folks turns over their places to us after retirement. if we as young people want to make the world a better place it must start from something to another and then to the next and again until we can lie down our hands mark that our great-grandchildren can be proud of tomorrow. Without discrimination to gender, religion, origin, race, or any other discriminatory factors, we all must work to enhance a better society for the unborn generation. Each of us must begin by taking on responsibilities and believing that we can make the world a better place. I believe that it is a crime to leave the world without making an impact that would positively transform the lives of the people among which you dwell or the globe. We youth can begin making contributions to our society whether educated or not by doing the following:
 1. using our skills and education acquired to help social development. There is no way or prove for me, if I say I am a professor and I don't have a student, I become a fiasco to society. The little ideas and things we are acknowledgeable of can be of great use to others who don't know it.

 2. Respect the right and ideas of other-the issues about human rights have become like slang among us. It is no joke, all humans are equal, and must have equal respect for their rights. Just as we don't want others to disrespect our rights 
and ideas because we feel they are important therefore we should likewise for all that we meet along this path of life.

 3. Take action in your various communities by protecting and supporting the rights of others. Remember the right of people you will stand for should of those that you may personally know, but raise up your voice for that man or woman or that boy and girl that are far beyond the mountain slope, that is there in the rural places.
